Our Executive Director, Shauna Mora, secured a generous grant to help with her focus on collaborating with other area organizations to make our mediation and training services a go-to resource for all communities in the county.
APTOS – Three area community foundations have partnered for the first time to create a grant program that will award $1.2 million for three years to 14 local nonprofits.
The Community Leadership Project is a result of the collaboration between the community foundations of Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito counties. The project is funded by the James Irvine, the William and Flora Hewlett and the David and Lucile Packard foundations.
“The collaboration between our three groups is new for community foundations in the state and the nation,” said Christina Cuevas, program director of Community Foundation Santa Cruz County.
